Welcome back, friends! Here is one of my favorite weddings in 2019. This Fredericksburg destination wedding is simple, elegant, and quirky. (one of my favorite combos!) If you are looking for some inspiration in the Texas Hill Country, look no further.
The Couple
Laura and Mike…where do I begin…Laura will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only is she sweet, and quirky, and genuine…she is also the very first vendor I met in San Antonio. She called me up, invited me to get some fro-yo, and welcomed me into the community. For that reason, I will never forget her generosity and loving spirit. Her smile is infectious. Mike is the perfect man for her. I’ve loved watching their love grow over the last four years. My prayer is that you can see their joy and love for each other through their photos. Most importantly, they own an AMAZING photography company here in San Antonio. Laura is the lead shooter and Mike is her trusty sidekick. Check out their work here!
The Photographer
Did I mention that the amazingly talented Chandra’s Collection shot her wedding? If you don’t know Chandra, you should go check her out right now!
The Venue and Design
Now, on to the decor and venue. Sunset Ranch is one of my new favorites. It is crisp and white and provided the perfect background for Laura + Mike’s design. They wanted to highlight the simplicity of succulents in pots and various containers. We designed a unique Smilax installation of greenery within the windows at Sunset Ranch.
