Hey Whimsy Family! It’s time for another wedding flashback. Michaela and Cortland will always have a special place in our hearts. From her infectious smile to rock-star team of vendors it was a day we will never forget. Michaela and her family started working with us over two years ago. She wanted a relaxing and stress-free engagement, so that is what we did our best to give her. Check out our favorites highlights from her summer wedding at The Chandelier of Gruene.
Even though the weather was hot (it was June in Texas…..naturally lol) the fun never stopped. Margarita Madness was pouring sweet cocktails and Granzin’s BBQ served the most scrumptious food. I said it before, but I’ll say it again…DREAM TEAM! These vendors are some of my favorites and I don’t know what we would do without them.
On to the decor…my favorite part 🙂
Michaela decided to go with a soft pastel pallet with beautiful peach, blush, and white blooms. We accented the blooms with pops of Rose Gold and Gold. They also decided to add in some very special touches to honor their relationship with The Lord and their families. You can see images of their GORGEOUS hand-painted bible below and some family heirlooms, as well. The hand-painted bible was a first for me, but I can’t wait to recommend this artist again.
Last, but certainly not least….their adorable pup, Wyatt! Wyatt is such a sweet dog and has played a huge role in their lives. Naturally, they had to include him on their big day. Check out all of the laughs, tears, and wicked dance moves in these gorgeous images captured by the rock-star team at Dawn Elizabeth Studios.
