Hey there! This week we continue our list of fantastic venues. This time we will be focusing more on the Hill country wedding Venues. The Hill country is a huge area of centralish Texas with a lot of winding country roads up and down the hills, huge ranches, wineries, watering holes, and famous rivers hidden amongst tall cypress trees and live oak trees as far at the eye can see. The venues that we will be spotlighting will be from New Braunfels, Wimberly, Fredericksburg, and everywhere in between. While we name ten keep in mind there are so many beautiful venues out there we just simply don’t have the time to talk about each of them. Let’s get started.
Firefly Farms
This family-owned venue has the sweetest story to tell and the sweetest people to work with. Its also situated right in the middle of all the hill country. The big barn is perfect for your country/ rustic romantic receptions. I also can’t forget about the charming tiny chapel as the ceremony site! They also have tiny houses on property perfect for your family or bridal party.
Chandelier of Gruene
The Chandelier of Gruene is huge! If you’re looking for a space to fit 300+ look no further. Their open-air chapel is so nice no matter what time. The reception building is gorgeous, honestly, no matter what the theme or colors of your wedding it works in here. Very professional, and family operated you really can’t go wrong with this venue.
Shiraz Gardens
Multiple sites for ceremonies, lush luxury garden feels, and unbelievable views, what more do you need!
The Barn at Swallows Eve
This Barn venue is gorgeous and BIG. It can seat up to 25o with a big dance floor inside and even more people outside. They offer a range of ceremony sites and some delicious on-site catering options. Located right in the middle of the Hill Country in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Mae’s Ridge
Looking for something that looks less and feels less like a rustic barn? Mae’s ridge is modern with a lot of fun and contemporary pieces. The grounds are also gorgeous.
The Edge Wedding and Event Venue
Peacefully nestled along the banks of the Perdernales River The edge is one of the Hill Country’s newest venues! They are on 140 acres right off the 290 wine trail in Fredericksburg Texas.
Feather Stone Ranch
The Hill Country has no shortage of beautiful venues and open-air chapels, which is exactly what this ranch has to offer. Their indoor space can seat 320 people! The views and country feel of the venue are perfect for those seeking a sleek rustic wedding.
Harper Hill Ranch
This cute little plot of land and venue is great for hosting a weekend-long wedding. They have an adorable house that was built in the 1800s with fun and secret updates. It can also sleep up to 20 people! The entertaining doesn’t stop there, take the party outside to a nice big pool and a huge outdoor kitchen. I haven’t even gotten to the wedding venue yet! The barn was redone with unbelievable stained glass in all the windows and doors. Overall, it had a unique industrial/ vintage feel to it. Of course, this sweet venue wouldn’t be complete without the sweetest mini donkeys, some beautiful longhorns, and coming later this year some beer toting llamas!
Rockin B Ranch
Rockin B Ranch is an all-inclusive stay for the couple who wants a real Texas wedding. The ranch has fishing, dog runs, a pet squirrel, and a gorgeous venue that used to be a horse barn. They are also equipped with multiple places to stay for friends and family all on the ranch as well.
Park 31
Park 31 is a venue all its own right outside of San Antonio. Things are a little more industrial feeling but none the less romantic. The staff is incredible and there to help you through your whole process from tours right down to the day of.
