Sarah and Evans December Wedding at Sunset Station
Hey everyone! So I guess I can’t really write right now without mentioning how kind of crazy the world today. That being said I wanted to share something beautiful, one of my favorite weddings from last year.
Sarah and Evan were so laid back and awesome to work with. Not to mention they were such a cute couple. From the first time I met with them in person, I could honestly tell how much the completed each other. AWWW cheesy I know but seriously. Sarah would be uncertain about something and Evan would jump in and help out so respectfully, and then Sarah would do the same. These guys had a few particular things they wanted but overall they wanted their friends and family to enjoy their wedding day and have a great time. I’m here to tell you… that’s exactly what they did.
Ceremony at The Chapel of the Incarnate Word
Sarah and Evan had both studied at UIW, so it was only fitting that later they bring their friends and family where it all started, and then walked down the aisle of the beautiful campus chapel to say “I DO”. If you have never been to the campus during Christmas time, you are definitely missing out. They light every tree across the whole campus I swear. It’s absolutely breathtaking. Sarah and Evan wanted pictures on campus as well which turned out perfect. So after pictures, the ceremony took place and everything went perfect. Everyone watched as these two became one.
Reception at Sunset Station
Then the party moved to a hidden gem in San Antonio, Sunset Station. This is another incredible Christmas venue because they decorate for the holidays and you are downtown so all the lights add to the night. Did I mention they have a grand staircase! My goodness did Sarah and Evan look so great entering the room! Everyone ate, danced and had an incredible time. Both families had so much love for the couple is was overflowing and so noticeable the whole night. All the floral turned looked great with the venue, the cake smelled absolutely decadent, and the night ended with a huge bubble send-off.
