Ellen and Connor’s Fall Wedding
When asked for the details on Ellen and Connor’s wedding at Contigo Ranch, Sophie had nothing but the sweetest things to say about this sweet couple. The wedding weekend was absolutely stunning and it sounds like they thought of little detail from the soft fall color palette, paper goods + signs all the way down to a private romantic dinner before the reception.
Details
There was not one detail left behind! Signage, multi-generation family wedding photos on display, a fun last name sign + greenery photo backdrop wall, gorgeous rentals from CRU Rentals, Uptown Drive band and we can’t leave out the vintage Bentley for their getaway car.
The family stayed all weekend in cabins on the ranch while the Groom and Groomsmen went Trap Shooting on the ranch in the morning before they were to start getting ready for the wedding. Live musician, Josh Klaus played for their ceremony at the Overlook on Contigo Ranch which provides a beautiful backdrop of the Texas Hill Country in Fredericksburg.
After the ceremony and formal pictures, Ellen and Connors’s parents sat down in one of the cottages to enjoy a private dinner before the reception began with the bride and groom not far behind to also enjoy dinner before the party began. It was such a sweet touch that Ellen wanted to incorporate into their timeline. It provided a moment for the parents and Ellen and Connor to really take the day in, but also have the opportunity to eat!
Ellen and Connor were introduced into the reception while Power by Kanye West played in the background. It set the mood for a fun, upbeat, and unforgettable night. The couple did not want a sit-down formal dinner, rather stations set-up throughout the indoor/outdoor reception space for the guests to enjoy either sitting at the indoor tables or outdoor tables on the lawn. To get the party started, sequin cowboy hats and light-up glow sticks came out once the dancing began. Everyone had an incredible time celebrating and sent the couple off with sparklers and lots of love.
