Bella and John’s Wedding at San Fernando Hall
I could not wait to write about this wedding! One, the bride and family were so sweet, not to mention extremely organized. Two, it was beautiful. Three, we had an absolute blast!
I’m not kidding when I say organized. The first time I met Bella in person was at the final walkthrough (thanks covid) at San Fernando Hall. After walking in and saying our hellos I also met her giant file box. This was the first time a bride had more files than me! She was so well prepared and so dang sweet we couldn’t help but laugh the whole time while we finalized the details of her big day. The organization was clearly a family trait because when we all started setting up the day before, her dad was very on top of things! Bellas’s family helped out so much and seemed to really enjoy being there for the couple.
After saying I do and getting gorgeous pictures on their way to the venue, John and Bella surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance that they pulled of perfectly! They had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves from the very beginning of the night.
San Fernando Hall is always perfect and grand even without decorating, but it was gorgeous with the purples and magentas floral centerpieces Bella and chosen all of which came together perfectly. The live band kept things moving, and all the vendors worked together to give these two a perfect night.
In True Aggie Fashion
This was an Aggie wedding through and through. Both families had proud Aggie grads, the cake was cut with John’s saber, John’s Senior Corps of Cadets boots were on display, Bella donned her maroon heels, and there was a gorgeous ice sculpture that we all couldn’t stop talking about. Of course, before the evening was over Bella and John were sent off with the best of aggie yells. If you are not from Texas this may all seem crazy, but here, we take all things Texas A&M very seriously.
