New Year New Plan
Wow, 2020 was… something special, and definitely not something we will forget anytime soon. We had to learn quickly how to make adjustments to events, and how to handled business as a whole. This meant lots of Zoom calls, and a little more working from home than normal. (I’m not one to complain much though, because it gave Kelsea and me both some time to rest a little while pregnant.) Along with the rest of the world, we ran with it and tried to make the best of the year. That being said these wedding planners are ready for a new year full of beautiful weddings, and lots of memories. We will also be enjoying lots of baby girl snuggles! Inquiries are already coming in hot, and we have some big plans that we cant wait to share!
We do have new pricing for 2021 so don’t forget to check our website or send us an email!
We’ve been given the wonderful opportunity to manage the Texas Hill Country’s newest luxury venue, Oakfire Ridge. Located just a few minutes north of San Antonio in Bulverde, Oakfire Ridge offers many indoor spaces, outdoor gardens, and patios to host your wedding or event. In addition to weddings, you can join us on the property for amazing culinary experiences, private dinners, concerts, corporate events, bike races, and so much more! The opportunities are endless!
New Team Member
Touch of Whimsy is growing! We aren’t only adding babies to the team this year but we have already added a new planner Kayleigh, who will be taking on a few events here and there but will also be managing things out at Oakfire Ridge. Check back soon to hear more from Kayleigh! We hope to also be expanding the floral design team to help Kelsea with all those big floral orders and awesome installments.
Kelsea is building a new house in New Braunfels, which will have a new and improved studio! She hopes the build will be complete by this May! I’m sure she will have updates along the way. We are looking forward to hosting our consults and design meetings there.
Check back for updates and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram for soem behind-the-scense.

Evelynn Anne Astin
Evelynn was born November 20th by C-section 5 days overdue with a little cone head but absolutely perfect. She is Roger and I’s first, so of course, we got home and wondered how in the heck people just send you home with a newborn.
We have had countless sleepless nights of course but overall it has been amazing, hard at times, but the love we feel is overwhelming. The holiday season was so much fun with family and the new little one.
She is a little over a month now and has started smiling which we can’t get enough of. We love listening to music especially Christmas tunes for the holidays. Walks have become a daily occurrence, Evenlynn really likes it when there is a breeze and she can look around . She’s still pretty small but is getting those adorable chunky baby legs. We are looking forward to this next year of figuring out how to be parents and watching her grow.
Tell us what’s new with you!
