2020 Quarantine Wedding Series

Today we are jumping right back into another wedding that was affected by all things COVID. (Who hasn’t been affected in some way or another at this point?) Jaye and Travis had an original date in March that sadly had to be moved. After picking a new date for their big wedding at Chandelier of Gruene, the decision to still have a very small but love-filled ceremony on their original date was made and accomplished beautifully. Both days were filled with lush, gorgeous florals, a few things that represented the couple, and of course, lots of love!

March Ceremony

The ceremony in March took place at a family lake house on a real rainy day but lucky for them the pictures turned out amazing! The windows in the house created a stunning backdrop for any wedding but fit Jaye and Travis perfect. Jaye did do a different dress and hairstyle for her smaller more intimate day. The two couldn’t have looked happier nor could what family that was there. See rain or shine, pandemic or no, things really do turn out the way they are supposed to. And in the end, you get to marry the love of your life no matter what.

I mainly helped plan and coordinate the wedding that they later had in August, and while it was definitely hot, it was still everything they had hoped it would be. This time with a lot more friends and family. We were even able to get a Bestman speech recorded and up on the projector so everyone was able to say their well wishes. Jaye and Travis did have another ceremony because why not! Honestly, does anyone get tired of seeing a groom look at his bride when she heads down the aisle towards him? I know I don’t. Lots of greenery and ferns were used throughout bouquets and centerpieces. Speaking of centerpieces, they were all designed by the bride herself. Jaye spent the better part of the moring putting them together herself! Books, books and more books! Setting the very romantic feels for the whole evening.
