A Family Affair
Hey everyone! Today we are taking a look back at one of Kelsea’s last weddings before we were confined to our homes and were worried about large gatherings. This wedding at firefly farms and family holds a special place in Kelsea’s heart. she has worked with this family multiple times and has had nothing but great things to say every time. As coordinators it’s one of the biggest compliments to get that call from the same family or friend of a former bride! Here is what Kelsea had to say about Emma and Scott’s big day.
Family
The Werchan’s are one of my top favorite families of all time. They are fun, easy-going and know how to party. Even more, though…the bride’s sister was my very first client. With Emma’s wedding, we’ve come full circle as her little sister got married.
The Venue
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all things Firefly Farms. Family-owned venues are my absolute favorites. The Skogman’s are no different. Firefly Farms is the perfect example of using the gifts and blessings God gives you to be a blessing to others. Having a wedding at Firefly Farms is nothing short of absolutely beautiful.
The Wedding
All of the flowers were picked at a local Wimberly flower farm, Arnosky Family Farm is located right down the road from Firefly Farms. The day before the wedding, the girls went out to the farm to select buckets upon buckets upon buckets of bright spring blooms. You’ve never seen so many beautiful Ranunculus, Anemones, and Daffodils. The wedding party created their own bouquets and bud vase centerpieces to adorn every inch of the reception hall. It was so much fun to see her bright and colorful vision come to life.
P.S How much fun would it be to create your own bridal bouquet?
