Need some motivation while stuck in quarantine? Let’s go!
Hey there. It’s day…… gosh I’m not even counting anymore, in quarantine and we just wanted to say hello! How are you holding in there? We are still over here trying to get work done in the background of all the craziness that is going on today. We are lucky to still be busy though and have plenty to do. Speaking of plenty to do. That’s what I wanted to talk about today. we just wanted to give you a few quarantine wedding planning tips that could prove to be helpful. You can, of course, be doing all your vendor research. Maybe even set up skype, zoom, or facetime meetings. This is a great way to get the ball rolling and start digging in.
Quarantine Wedding Planning Tip One
Pinterest boards are not new when it comes to wedding planning, in fact, they can be very helpful. Girl, we know you have been pinning your heart away for years or at least since he proposed. Now when you look at the board maybe you can’t even see a clear vision anymore. Let’s fix that! Go through and decide what style or feeling you are going for… yes just one. Maybe two that can be cohesive. If you have a lot of pins maybe try making different boards. one for the ceremony, reception tables, flowers, and photos. This may sound like a lot but a few of your vendors actually use your boards. We do, your florist, and the photographer may all ask to see. So clean em up!
Quarantine Wedding Planning Tip Two
Wedding Party Attire
Take this time to find your wedding party dresses and suits. There are a ton of sites out there but a couple of our favorites are Azazie or Black Tux. This allows you to point everyone in the right direction and check it off your list of things todo. We also have a great post on bridesmaid dresses here.
Quarantine Wedding Planning Tip Three
This one may sound counterproductive but there are actually a few bakeries and bakers who are willing to do a take-home tasting. Like our friends at Creations Cakes. Give them a call select your cakes and pick them up and done. Taste your cake in the comfort of your own kitchen. This is a fun option and other places may do the same if you ask.
Hopefully, this is helpful and you feel motivated to get some things done!
