This week on the blog it is time to say “HELLO” to luxury. We’ve left the beautiful San Antonio Hill Country to enter the vibrant world of downtown San Antonio. We are saying “Goodbye” to barn wood, lace, and blush and “Hello” to all things gold, glitz, and glamorous. Now, let’s take a look at this luxury wedding at The St. Anthony Hotel.

My favorite aspects of this wedding where the crisp white blooms paired with deep navy linen and gold accents. The St. Anthony Hotel is naturally one of the most beautiful hotels in downtown. This looks perfectly complemented the elegant details that drip from every corner of the hotel.

During the ceremony, Ken and Lina were adorned with customary Kenyan blankets and they even performed the jumping of the broom ceremony. Not to mention the larger-than-life circular arch created by Fresh Urban.

Peacock Ally was the location for the cocktail hour. The velvet green sofas and crystal chandeliers were the perfect complements to an Old Fashion or glass of Pinot.

The gorgeous bells of The St. Anthony begin to ring signifying the beginning of our reception. Each guest was greeted with Ken and Lina’s sophisticated cake created The Painted Cake. This classic design uses white sugar flowers to create depth and interest. Then they looked up and saw the gorgeous flowers and gold accents
